User questions & answers
Question: | When will this be available in another color |
Answer: | I personally love playing on G# (Ab) so I would definitely recommend getting string gauges 80-15 if you want to play on the same tuning I like but they’ll do just fine if you want to play on A. By the way if you like Meshuggah and know their songs you should buy string gauges 85-15 and tune super low on F and there you got yourself some serious metal mayhem. I hope I was able to help 🤘🏻 |
Question: | What are the recommended tuning limits? i would like to play things from b drop a to e standard. i can go without e stnd, i just want my low tunes |
Answer: | Yes it comes with strings. I bought for my fiance for his birthday as he is an avid guitar player, he absolutely loves it! He plays it all the time. |
Question: | Does it come with strings |
Answer: | Its a three way switch |
Question: | hello, is there coil splitting via 5 way switch |
Answer: | Nop |

User questions & answers
Question: | Whichis the size of fretwarps for this guitar? M or L |
Answer: | You're looking at a large to XL for a fretwrap. |
Question: | What would be a good combo amp (tube or solid state) to go with this guitar, considering the lowest frequencies could blow a regular amp speaker |
Answer: | It's up to you with what sound you want. I just a tube Ampgeg Reverbrocket, great for jazz or with a distortion works good. I don't think the low frequancies of the guitar wouldnt do any damage to the speakers, I believe it is more the level of output from the amp and going through speakers would do damage, like 150 watts through a speaker rated at 30watts. There is plenty of low end from this guitar, I was going to run both a guitar amp and a bass amp with this guitar but no need for that. Also if you're playing with a bassist, be careful with frequancies and bumbling the bass and the 8's low end. So maybe less low end may be good. |
Question: | Will a symour Duncan 8 string black winter pickup fit in tho guitar |
Answer: | Yes, i have ibanez rg8 fm, and mounting seymour duncan, is exactly the position, and the sound is amazing |
Question: | Can u tune to e standard on this guitar or is the scale length to long and if so with waht string gauge |
Answer: | You can tune to standard but those two lower string will be F# and B which for the octaves they are the std tuning notes. then from there E,A,D etc. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can you put a floyd rose in it |
Answer: | No. The body would need a cut out to go forward and back with a floyd rose. |
Question: | Does it gave a tremolo bar |
Answer: | No, this does not use a tremolo(Whammy) bar. |
Question: | how good is the quality? just as good as the average Ibanez |
Answer: | Very good quality for the price. Much nicer than I thought it would be. The only thing I would say is it goes out of tune faster than a full size guitar, but I think that is a typical issue with 3/4 size guitars. After I put some new thinner Guage strings on it stays in tune much better. Very nice guitar! |
Question: | year old female, small hands most likely will use this guitar for rocksmith 2014, is this small for kids? Or can Adults used this too |
Answer: | I'm a 5'8 male, and while the highest frets can be a bit crowded for me, I find it more enjoyable to play the lower frets than on my 25.5 inch scale schecter. Overall, it's a fun, fast, usable guitar at a great price. |
