Answer:	Yes, I would say they are really wide. I ordered the “regular” size 7 1/2 and mine have loads of room in the toes. They will accommodate warm thick socks comfortably. Therefore the wide should fit you well

Question:	The sizes have a (M) - does this mean men's size
Answer:	Weight is subjective...depends on size. I wear size 14 and I'm sure they weight twice as much as a small mans size. I shopped in a store before buying and compared these to a number of other brands and they are among the lighter weight boots among of the better brands. I found some inexpensive brands that were much lighter but not very good quality. They are not so heavy as to feel weighted. They are not as stiff as I anticipated them to be either.
Question:	How are they in cold weather
Answer:	YES！The length of my foot is 27.5cm, i chose 10.5, alought the shoe size is a littler bit large, but it prove the size chart is true. i think 10 is perfect fit to my foot's size.

Answer:	Timberland White Ledge boots are not insulated and so are not particularly warm in and of themselves. However, because they're mostly leather with few seams, they are very waterproof (many boots claim to be waterproof but are not--too many seams and non-leather parts) and keep your feet dry which helps keep them comfortable. You can buy insulated boots, but unless you're like my sister-in-law (her feet are always cold), they will be too warm in the summer. I much prefer to wear a non-insulated boot and then make them feel warmer/cooler by wearing wool socks in winter and cotton socks in summer. As long as your feet stay dry and you have good moisture-wicking wool socks, this sock method works for me in the winter. Make sure there's enough room in the boots for thicker wool socks--cramped feet will always feel cold.

Answer:	Yes, it works on snow. It is the very first shot boot I ever have. And if you notice I use "IS" not "WAS", because I am still wearing it now, since 2004. It is 15 years already. I only use it in winter time and raining day when the weather condition will not be safe with regular sneakers. I use this boot as snow day shoes in each year, for 15 years now, and the shoe is still in very good condition. I am thinking to get a second pair in different color now. BUT, I will not give this boot a 5 -star rating due to the very poor design of the show lace. For no reason, this round shoe lace constantly got loose when I was walking. After many years' upset with the original round shoe lace, I replaced it with regular flat shoe lace and it works very well now. Therefore, I suggest you also get a regular flat shoe lace ready when the round lace is not properly holding up, so you can just replace it.

Answer:	I live in Idaho, which stays pretty cool, but even my feet were hot, walking in the summer in these. These are better for Spring/Fall. I'm not sure how they would do in a really cold winter because I haven't tried them, but according to the other answer, one poster said you should stay pretty warm. I'm not sure about the summer, though. They may make your feet sweat, which would not be good.

I have ordered as per the website, but remain skeptical as to what is going to arrive. I've paid $26 for express international shipping so if it's not right I will certainly be raising the issue!

Answer:	The Salomon Speedcross is for men and women. You just need to do a search for Women's Salomon Speedcross. I have ordered my Speedcross shoes from Amazon for years and love them!! Answer:	Check all the available sellers. Some of them do not say free returns. Others do. Amazon first showed me the Oboz shoe with only the Free Shipping showing. IMO Amazon should have shown the seller with both shipping and return free first.

Answer:	I would say no, my child is 5 wearing a TOMS toddler 10, Target converse 10, and size 10 ballet and tap shoes (American Ballet Theatre- from Payless) and the size 10 Chaco is just between perfect and a tad big (which is better so she can maybe wear them next spring too).If it helps at all we did Keen brand sandals until her feet were big enough for Chacos- and those ran pretty true to size in our experience.

Answer:	I love this shoe - and I have tried a lot of hiking shoes - this one is great. The toe box is roomy - a priority for me. I have hike some steep hills and your foot does not slide in the shoe - but you have to make sure you lace them properly.
Question:	Do they dry quickly
Answer:	Yes they do. I'm on trails early every morning and get soaked from the dew. I live in Oklahoma where the heat index is currently 110 and they do dry quickly.
Question:	Can I hike in water with these shoes
Answer:	I hiked after a rainstorm so it was muddy and while it was raining and the shoes not only had great traction while scrambling on rocks downhill, my feet never felt wet.

Question:	is this truly waterproof
Answer:	I have many pairs of the merrell shoes. I have found that they are waterproof , until you put them on when they are still wet on the outside. It somehow makes the waterproofing fail. for me anyway. As long as I completely dry them before wearing them again, they stay waterproof for a long long time. I put my shoes on the heat vent or radiator when wet so they completely dry before putting them on again.
Question:	Are these waterproof? The description says they are but I noticed one of the reviews says they are not
Answer:	Merrell makes a version of the Moab 2 that is NOT waterproof but is the same style and construction as the waterproof style. I suspect that the customer who said that their shoes were not waterproof bought the shoes w/o waterproofing and thought they were getting waterproof shoes so their review was likely about the wrong product :)
Question:	Is the M select more breathable and flexible than gore tex? Have a pair of merrell with goretex and too stiff and hot
Answer:	I have both the waterproof and the gore tex, and many pairs of each. I have found the 'waterproof' ones are hot and keep my feet hot and sweaty, where the gore tex breathe much better and keep my feet dry so much better. it is worth buying gore tex even though they cost a little more.

Answer:	They do for my feet. I typically wear additional inserts for arch support and I do not need it on these shoes.

Question:	how do these fit compared to Moab Ventilators
Answer:	I need a big toe box, and so have been buying more 2E shoes than not these days. My ventilators (12D) are quite wide for a normal-width shoe, and so normal width was fine. The waterproofing in the FST reduces that. I went with the wide version of the FST and they fit well, but still not as wide as the ventilators. The FST is also much lighter than the ventilator, which is a big plus. I also tried the waterproof Moab in 12D, but they were so tight I could only wear them for short periods. I'm happy with the FST so far after ~ a month.
Question:	Are these shoes waterproof
Answer:	No, they do make a waterproof version of the MoAb FST. This is style the the traditional breathable mesh without a waterproof lining.Thank you for your question.

Answer:	Water reaistant. Not waterproof. Super comfortable. Plenty of room for warm socks.
Question:	Is this shoe tread a good choice for a "light" hike? How's the grip and support for a light hike
Answer:	Yes it is, grip is also very good and support phenomenal, I did couple of 3 mile hikes and one 11mile as soon as I bought them , never a good choice to put shoes on first time and go 11 miles , but I was so comfortable and I felt my ankles where protected very well. I did not slip once in them.

Answer:	All I know is that it keeps my feet from over heating. I do wear socks with these. I can tell you, I’ve worn other sneakers, and these Merrell’s are one of the best sneakers I’ve ever owned. As far as comfort, they’re perfect.
Question:	Are these wild enough in the toe box? I have other Merrell shoes recent years where the length fits well but shoes rub my feet and create corn on side

Answer:	The KEEN.DRY waterproof membrane will retain some heat, so depending on how hot your feet get normally these might be too hot. We do offer the Terradora II in a ventilated option though (Terradora II Vent) if you like the look of this but want a more breathable option!

Answer:	Fairly true to size but the toe box area height and width is small, so you may want to go a 1/2 size larger if you have a wider foot.

Answer:	The last pair of Asics I purchased were mostly black and came from Z thru Amazon. The insert was thin and there was no arch support that I need. They were sent back.
