The a factory insert is disappointing considering these are a Keen product. My work involves me being on my feet 8 hours a day. They are the most comfortable shoe I have (including the other Keen shoes I own) and I wear them everyday, all day. I hike a lot and wear them when working on our property. I would highly recommend them. I originally ordered my size and one that was 1/2 size larger. I decided to go with the one that was 1/2 size bigger than my normal size.

Answer: I bought these for my husband in an 8.5, which he says is a good fit, though a tad roomy. He usually wears a 9.5 in a tennis shoe. He did not notice any difference in the width.

Answer: I love my Keen Arroyo's, but I've never used them for water sports. They are very sturdy and I don't think water would hurt them. Don't think they would keep the feet dry because of the fact that they are sandals. :o)

Answer: I think this shoe and around the house, and it can be used on the order of a little hiking not far away. It will not stand up to very 500 miles of long distance.

Answer: In Keen's my size is an 8. I had to go to an 8 1/2 and my toes still graze the end of the sandals, but not enough for me to return. My opinion is that this sandal is made for thin feet. The sandal fits somewhat tightly, but not bad.
Question: I am a nurse and I am on my feet 12-14 hours per shift. Are there any nurses out there who can speak to the comfort and arch support of the shoes
Answer: I have not washed this pair yet, but I have another pair that is gray with red lace, and has closed heel (shoe not sandal). I put them in wash machine in cold water and they did fine.
Question: Do these run wide
Answer: They are not waterproof like the other sandals. It is recommended to just wash them with mild soap and water.
