Question:	How often should they be replaced
Answer:	I am a man and where 8.5 shoes with boxy toe room. New Balance Walking/hiking shoes. I have a size 9 set of these insoles and they fit perfectly. I dont know if that transfers to women's sizes and shoes, but it you wore the blue vervsion the plain Pinnacle - they take up about the same amount of space as the pinnacle plus. These are jsut cushier in a very nice and resilient way. Very happy with them.

Answer:	I checked the Powerstep website before purchasing mine to figure out the sizing. I just checked it for you and a women's size 7 is equivalent to a men's size 5, so you would order a size 5. I can't speak for cartilage loss, but I can tell you that I have had 4 foot surgeries for various problems and using these in my sneakers helps make them a lot more comfortable. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, there's raised padding in the location where a metatarsal pad would go. It's pretty firm and works quite well for me.

Answer:	This one has another arch support under the metatarsal which is basically under the ball of the foot. For me it helps take some pressure off the sesamoid bone in which I had an injury. Best I can describe: instead of just the arch support on the side of the foot, there’s also a ‘raised pad’ directly underneath the ball of foot.

Answer:	I can confirm that the 8-9M US insole WILL fit size 9.5 Timberland Pros just fine. I have 9.5W Timberland Pro Pitboss boots fitted with the medium (8-9) anti fatigue insole. The portion of the insole in front of the arch is oversized and will need to be trimmed. I trimmed about a quarter inch off mine using the original insole as a template.

Answer:	Yes sir, I took the soles out of my steel toed boots and replaced them with these. Haven’t had a problem with my feet hurting sense and I’m in the 40-50 hours a week minimum.

Answer:	The insoles are made so you can cut them to your shoe size, per example the one that says size 8-14 it fits for all those sizes and when you open them you will see a line that shows the correct size for you, I am size 8 so I had to cut the extra part of the insole to feet my shoe.

Answer:	I don't have a measurement of the arch, but the regular ones are pretty high. I have one foot that has a much higher arch, and the regulars are fine, but I had to get their slim line for my other foot. The slim line is not as prominent an arch and easier to fit in women's shoes. Both sets take some getting used to and a break-in period, but they definitely help!

I trained for a 5 day hike in the Grand Canyon with some lightweight hiking boots, and ultimately brought along and USED for the entire trip my Gel Venture 5’s!!! I did order a 1/2 size larger, because the hardest part of our hike was 10 miles down into the Canyon and needed that extra toe room. Also laced them up really well to prevent shifting in that extra 1/2 inch... and they were fantastic. Good grip and traction, and fabulous comfort all day. Highly recommended... I’ve had prob 5 pairs of these in the past several years. Hiking, walking, jogging, running, working; Whatever! These will keep your feet happy.

Answer:	Women's size (8) feels true to fit. Men's (9.5) was returned for a wide option. Support in the shoe feels sturdy, and you can tell it's there. If you like more space order wide, it's snug across the top. Good stability for trails, thus the close quarter feel.

Answer:	I wear 10.5N or 11N in athletic shoes, 10N in other/dress/casual shoes. These only came medium width, but after reviews, ordered in 10.5B and have been great for me. I did remove insole and replaced with custom orthotics for plantar f. which has finally improved after more than a year of treatment and being REALLY careful of what shoes I wore. Back on site today to see about replacing first pair of these as they have worked so well. Have another pair of Asics in 11N that also worked well. Always wore New Balance in narrow, but made the switch after trouble finding narrows and problems with feet. I also have very high arches and narrow feet. Also wish more shoes came in 10.5, as often the 11's are too large. These worked.

Answer:	They are not as flexible as a top notch running shoe. But they do use have a midsole stability shank, so they are comparably flexible for a walking or hiking shoe.

Answer:	I am a size 12 and have a wide foot so got the XW in that size. Shoe was too long, could have gone with a 11.5. And it was WAY too wide for my foot. Could have easily gone with M width.

Answer:	10D M means the width is medium wide. 10 4E means the width is much wider. I have a wide foot so I get a 4E width shoe. You can go to a shoe store and have you foot measured so you know the length and width of your foot. For a 10D M the length is size 10 with a medium width.
Question:	The colors are incorrect on a couple of pairs of shoes. Customers are getting the wrong color sent to them

Answer:	I bought this shoe several times when I was still working in the hospital laboratory and standing all day. I highly recommend it for that purpose. Now that I have arthritis in my feet, these are the only shoes that successfully keep me pain-free.

Answer:	Since it's a leather sneaker they are not as lightweight as a nylon sneaker, but the solid comfort makes up for the heavier shoe. I have a huge bunion on my right foot and it never bothers me in these sneakers. Because of the bunion I usually have to buy a wide in any shoe I wear for an extended time, but because New Balance seem to run wider than other brands I can wear a 9B all day without feeling any discomfort. I love these shoes.

Answer:	No. These run smaller and I think narrower. I ordered 7.5 and had to return them for an 8.00. They were just as narrow as the smaller size so ordered wide. Once you get the correct fit, they are great.
