As for half size I wear 8-8 and a half I got a 9 then went to a 10 (ALL WOMENS SIZE) Today I got a women's size 11 and I know I will be taking off the strap of those too If I'm not "swimming" in the 11 and have to return them with the ankle straps attached BUT if they fit ok off the starps will come OH AND SOMETHING YOU CAN DO TOO to see if they work for you without the strap on. Just put the strap on the top of the top of the shoe don't have to bother taking the strap off just try that instead I forgot I did that with my very first pair and after wearing them like that for awhile realized I could take the straps right off the shoe and have ever since. I love my crocs (bad back problems) helps a lot. I wear mine constantly and have found that for me the inside sole does wear down after time you'll notice how much when you get a new pair.
