Answer:	We have not used it on an airline, but I'm fairly certain it will pass for the standard requirements. We fly a lot and have used larger backpacks and they have been just fine. That being said, I do NOT recommend buying this backpack. It is very poorly made and lasted maybe a full month before falling apart. The zippers don't always zip fully, the shoulder straps don't stay tight and the bottom is very thin and wears out easily. It would be worth the extra money to buy a more durable backpack, in my opinion. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, It has "SOLDIER BLADE" in grey written vertically maybe 3 inches long. Kind of positioned opposite of the front zipper. I didn't see it in the pictures on Amazon.
