| Answer: | The most UGLIEST shoes I have ever in my life had on my feet. But for the reason I got myself a pair of them is I have herniated and bulding discs in my back and the minute I put them on my feet for the very first time it was as if they had (the herniated bulging discs had miraculously went away. I was astonished and grateful. Some had told me they had the same problem and bought a pair of these and helped relieve there back problem too. I have been wearing classic crocs now for I think at least 2 or more years now and even thought I do have my days with my back These are still the most comfortable shoes you can put on your feet. TRUE STORY: Was getting in the car happened to look down at my foot and said OMG then laughed out loud because I was still wearing my house slippers (and we all know how comfortable those are) well those are how comfortable these are. I guess you have to ask yourself how much do you want to wear a comfortable shoe in order to get beyond how these look (atrociously) UUUUUGLY Every single pair I've ever bought is the (KHAKI) because they don't stand out so much. It's not as thought I don't like all the colors they come in I do its just that these are a "wide" looking shoe and if I bought or word the Yellow or Orange the first thing I would think of is "duck feet" OR the RED which I love too but would never ever buy they would just remind me of Clown shoes. You know how kids shoes are small and look really cute well I think these are really cute looking on little kids feet as well as all the colors They can get away with it but adults ok you can wear whatever color you like but remember if you think these shoes are UUUUUGLY buying a pair in a nice bright color is just going to bring a lot of attention to your feet.. No getting around the uuuuglyness of these shoes but depending on your circumstances and need for comfortable shoes YOU CANNOT BEAT THE CROCS FOR THAT !!!! |

| Answer: | The exterior, of the santa cruz 2, appears to be a rougher canvas-like material. I never looked inside the shoe before, but it is a smoother fabric (not the rougher canvas on the outside). The inner material is almost on par with the cotton you would see in fine dress pants, at least by look and feel. The upright interior of the shoe (i.e., the vertical interior sides, back, and front toe area) have this same cotton-type material. The sole of the shoe, that you would be walking on, is a mixture of two textures. The arch and the toe area are a white color rubber material with slightly raised ridges (almost like striations). The rest of the sole area, where most of your foot will be resting upon, are a thick, soft and comfortable (brown colored) pad labeled as "Triple Crocs Comfort". I always wear socks with my Crocs, so I just tried one of the shoes barefoot. And it felt quite comfortable, almost cool to the touch, to me, though I don't know if you have unusually sensitive skin. One thing is this Croc loafer tends to run a little tight on top (others have mentioned this). If you wear socks you may need to squeeze into the shoe. I have to use a shoe horn to get in the shoe (size 15M). But barefoot the shoe slid right on with no problems. On my skin it feels smooth and comfortable. |

YUP and 99.9 % of the time I'm wearing them I'm wearing them with NO SOCKKS and have never ever had a problem falling out of the or anything like that. As for half size I wear 8-8 and a half I got a 9 then went to a 10 (ALL WOMENS SIZE) Today I got a women's size 11 and I know I will be taking off the strap of those too If I'm not "swimming" in the 11 and have to return them with the ankle straps attached BUT if they fit ok off the starps will come OH AND SOMETHING YOU CAN DO TOO to see if they work for you without the strap on. Just put the strap on the top of the top of the shoe don't have to bother taking the strap off just try that instead I forgot I did that with my very first pair and after wearing them like that for awhile realized I could take the straps right off the shoe and have ever since. I love my crocs (bad back problems) helps a lot. I wear mine constantly and have found that for me the inside sole does wear down after time you'll notice how much when you get a new pair. | Answer: | I have tried the sizes 8 and 9 in women's and the 8 is just barely too short, my heel goes over the back and toes just touch the front, and then I ordered a 9 as the only other alternative. The 9's were WAY too big and bulky. I wear a 8.5 and my feet are 9.5" long. It seems like my Croc wearing days are over even though before they changed the sizing, I wore sz 8 for a decade. Sad because I really want these for gardening and everyday wear. |

The inner insole is removable and through past experience, it is best to remove it and wash only the outer shoe in the washer. You can hand wash the inner sole by itself. Have not put the shoe or inner sole in the dryer thus far. We just air dry them. |
