The mattress is soft to the touch, but when you lie down on the bed, its firm and very supportive! We used to wake up with horrible aching backs and feeling miserable! Another thing is that you need to be prepared for the High Heel, these Boots come with a Heel a little bit over 5", and you have a small feet, so you don't want to feel like walking on you tip toes. Answer:	I purchased mattress in September 2013. I am replacing it now, after 6 years. If one person is overweight then spinning it once a year will probably get you an extra year or two of use. For the price replacing it after 6 years still does not seem like a bad deal. Replacing now after 6 years due to one side getting too soft/sinking. Innerspring mattresses normally cost me over $1000 and only lasted 7 years. I have found this mattress to be cooler and more comfortable than any innerspring mattresses I have owned.

Answer:	It took two people to get it up the stairs. We took it out of the box left it in the plastic bag and carried the legs up separately that helped cut about 10 lbs of weight
