Answer:	I am normally a size 8 in boots but I purchased a size 8.5 because most of the reviews said to order a half size up, so I did. The 8.5 fits me but I have room in them. They don't feel large but they don't fit tight. (I even measured my foot - 9-7/8" long) but that didn't help with the size ordering. I am going to purchase another pair in the khaki color and will order a size 8.5 as I don't want to have to return them if a size 8 feels too small. But, to me, the fit size of these is pretty accurate to the exact size you normally wear. I'm not sure why other reviews are saying to order a half-size up. Just my opinion but I hope it helps! And by the way, these boots are really cool, warm inside (not too fuzzy) and look and feel really great!

The height of the boot is 26 inches, measure that against your legs to see how high it is on you. Then measure your thigh right were 26 inches stops on you. The top opening of the boot is 14 inches, if your over or under maybe a inch or two, I think you can get away with it. The boots has a little stretch on the calf and thigh and it does have elastic behind the thighs for extra room. Also since the store has free returns, you really can't go wrong if you don't mind the wait to exchange :)
