Answer:	No. I bought these for that particular reason. I am always at the lake and they have a beach area and I was always getting sand between my toes and dirty feet and I hated that. Answer:	You may not be happy with this item for yoga. The thin insole doesn't stay in place. As I walked it slowly shifted until it was backing out of the shoe up my ankle. It was not glued or attached to the inside bottom of the shoe. It does grip well enough. Yet under the insole is rough. The first time using them blistered my toes. I would not wear them without socks. Hope this helps.

Answer:	For the most part yes ...obviously a little May get in mostly if your foot is buried in the sand but they do fit snug around the foot.

Answer:	8.5-9.5 .... I wear 9-9.5 and those fit perfectly
