Regarding the sand, I guess if your foot goes in too deep then you need a shoe that won't easily come off, as some people loose shoes in the sand. Otherwise it's the perfect shoe for me. I was wearing Merrell moab before and have no complaints with that either.

Answer:	I would say yes get a bigger one if it is still too tight when the clip that is around the neck is already as big as it goes, and the clip that adjusts the loop that goes around the nose is a loose as it goes. Double check that it is being worn according to the company recommendations. I found that I ordered mine in his weigh range and it was big.. but he has some growing to do still.

Answer:	Hello! When viewed from the side the head collar should resemble a “V”. To test the fit of the nose loop gently pull it forward. It should go no further than the fleshy point on the dog’s nose and you should not be able to pull it completely off the dog’s nose. Answer:	I have 15" calves as well. I ordered the L/XL and they are WONDERFUL! I do Military Spec Ops Security and average 27,000 steps per 8 hour shift. I have a wardrobe full of random brands and sizes of compression sleeves. These are the best fitting and best performing I have yet to find. I practically live in them! Beyond comfortable and protective.

Question:	How can I prevent my pants from clinging to Velcro where it is exposed after strap is fastened
Answer:	I found the length to be ok at size 11 or 10-1/2. My concern is for the width, as I find these slightly narrower for my preference. Normal crew socks are a bit tight in the Medium, and at least when I bought the next available width up with very wide, EEE. Seemed too wide to try. Thin socks are ok, but if width is a concern I recommend going to a store where you can try them, or be prepared to return. Because of the width issue, for dress slip-ons I went to Rockport, where I can get wide (E).

Answer:	The go walk 3 are much more comfortable and stylish in my opinion. The 4 are made smaller as well. I wear an 11 wide and had to buy a 11.5 wide. If you have a choice buy the 3s.

Answer:	Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I nicknamed them my "Cloudwalkers". I wear them all day and walk an average of 5 to 10 miles a day.

Answer:	I will give a qualified "yes." It depends how high your arches are. I find these sandals give excellent support. Can walk anywhere: beaches, pebbled roads, wood trails and basic side walks and streets. My feet don't hurt or get tired. Hope this helps.
Question:	does this sneaker help with balance
Answer:	If pants catching Velcro is a constant issue, you can buy Hook and Loop (Velcro) fastener in a strip or roll at any fabric store. Cut off the amount you need and place it over the exposed Velcro to keep your pants from catching. Should work, and a whole roll of 36" is $1.50. You could replace pieces numerous times.
Question:	does it come in wide widths
Answer:	I've had them for 4 years now. I am used to wearing orthotic shoes with a sturdy arch support. These sandals have average arch support. So if you are like me and need firm and reliable arch support (because I have plantar fasciitis in both feet), then these won't be enough. They do have a FANTASTIC heel cup that absorbs a lot of impact which is where it hurts the most for plantar sufferers. Hwy have great traction in water (lakes or streams) and on water (puddles), and that stability is welcomed by all who buy these shoes I'm sure. With good handwashing, I feel they would be a good dependable pair of recreational sandals for average needs. They can be helpful for family friendly hikes, but for tougher terrain, I would recommend the Chaco brand of sandals. They are more expensive ; around $100), but well worth heat cost if you need something that is going last 5-10 years and offer extra firm arch support.

Answer:	I have very wide feet and these teva terra fit my size 6-1/2 wide foot. They are very comfortable and good support. The straps are adjustable and that helps with the width. I have several pairs.
