Question: | On the sneaker or label show if its a wide width? I have a pair but I cant remember is its a wide or not |
Answer: | It is NOT wide width. I have a pair of wide width and it’s noted on the tag, these do not have that and although the difference is subtle it is definitely felt the next day. |
Question: | Does this shoe fit same as cohesion 13 medium/ wide |
Answer: | I think so! I always buy half size bigger! |
Question: | Why is the shoe referred to as "Wide walking shoe"? Is the sole wide or does the shoe fit a widder foot? (I have narrow feet |
Answer: | The shoe fits a wider foot. I have a narrow heel and need a wide toe box. So these fit me, but I had ordered two different brands and decided on the other. I have always run or walked in Saucony and New Balance. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the width change at all? I have currently have some and would like to make them wider |
Answer: | Same for me, the right shoe squeaks as I walk when my heal hits the ground. I had heard people with orthotics put some baby powder in the shoe so I did. It helped but there's still some squeaking. I have noticed it goes away with time though. I've had 3 pair in the last 2 years. |
Question: | Can anyone tell me how slippery these are? The tread seems to be okay, but I’d like to know from experience. Trying to take on a mostly rocky hike |
Answer: | The sizes are female sizes the (m) just means medium as apposed to a wide shoe. I ordered the size 7 myself and they are true to size but they are a narrow shoe just so you know. |
Question: | Will these fit a wide foot |
Answer: | I ordered a pair of size 7.5 for my wife and she found that she had to return them because it was too snug. She has always been a 7.5 with Nike as well as other brands. |
Question: | Why in the payment Check the shoes silver/black trasform in the black/silver |
Answer: | I love my shoes for Zumba but they are flat and the sole is thin. If that is your preference in a walking shoe - then go for it! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can the soles be taken out and place an orthotic like powersteps? If yes, will my heels be coming out |
Answer: | Absolutely 100% yes! I have a super high arch, so my orthotics are taller than most. I have torn out the insole and replaced it with my orthotic. Absolutely no problem with heel slippage whatsoever. No foot going numb, totally secure |
Question: | does this shoe have an arch support |
Answer: | I have very high arches and a slight over pronation when I run. These (Sauconys in general) are the only running shoes I can wear, and I don't need an insert for my arches. Toe box is big, too, without needing a wide shoe. |
Question: | Do these compare well with Stratos |
Answer: | Yes. Feel the same. I actually have both. Stratos 5 for treadmill. Cohesion 10 for street, trail running. |
Question: | Are they a neutral shoe |
Answer: | This has nothing to do with color. I am appalled that someone would attempt to answer a question that they don't know the answer to! It's okay not to know! The question is concerning pronation, one of the most important factors in choosing a comfortable, appropriate-for-your-body shoe! I am horrified that this information continues to not be a standard detail in the product description. If you don't know how/if you pronate, go to a store, a chiropractor, a witch doctor or whatever and find out. To answer the question, I am certain that YES, these are a neutral runner just like the Cohesion 9 (one of the best selling shoes because of the price point and quality). I personally prefer the Saucony Rides but I have owned a pair of the Cohesion 9s since 2015 and they have worn quite well. I am always asking this same question so I hope this helps! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will these shoes mark up a gym floor with black marks |
Answer: | I wouldn’t think so. Half the bottom sole is red. |
Question: | Are these water proof or water resistant |
Answer: | No, not at all water resistant. they have mesh toes, it's like a regular running shoe. I would not call it a trail shoe. It's also rather narrow. No way would i run on a trail with these. it's a road shoe in my opinion. maybe smooth dirt trail, anything uneven, forget it. |
Question: | Do the inserts come out so I can put my orthotics in |
Answer: | Absolutely, most shoes allow you that option. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed, one of my favorites:) |
Question: | What is the difference in the cohesion series. I have a cohesion 7 and now I see they are selling a cohesion |
Answer: | They come out with a newer version of the Cohesion model every year. I think the 10 is the latest model so the 7 came out about 3 years ago. I have been wearing the Cohesion model shoe for many years and I can tell no difference between the 7, 8, 9 or 10 in terms of comfort, fit or durability. I am currently wearing the 10 only because I replace them every 3-4 months and I cannot find an earlier model. NOTE: I replace my shoes based on mileage and not whether the shoe shows any signs of wear - which they usually do not. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Walking or running shoe |
Answer: | I use it as a walking shoe - fitness walking. I prefer the early models. This one wasn't as comfortable as the earlier ones. |
Question: | What shoe is like the Omnie |
Answer: | Very comfortable look great |
Question: | Does this have a removable footbed |
Answer: | Yes it does have a removable footbed. |
Question: | How do these fit compared to cohesion |
Answer: | Don't know how they compare to cohesion 13 but I have had the earlier excursion models - TR9 and TR 12 - and liked them much better than this shoe. The TR 13 doesn't fit me as well. I always wear Saucony for walking and this shoe was a disappointment compared to earlier models. It isn't as cushy feeling either. |
