3 best crossfit shoes for women
CrossFit shoes for women are specialized athletic footwear designed to meet the unique demands of CrossFit training, a high-intensity fitness regimen that combines weightlifting, aerobic exercises, and functional movements. These shoes are tailored to provide the necessary support, stability, and durability required for various CrossFit activities. Here's what you should know about CrossFit shoes for women:
Versatility: CrossFit workouts often involve a variety of movements, including weightlifting, running, jumping, and rope climbing. CrossFit shoes are versatile and designed to handle all these activities effectively.
Durability: CrossFit shoes are constructed with durable materials, reinforced toe caps, and abrasion-resistant features to withstand the rigors of CrossFit training, including repeated movements and heavy lifting.
Stability: They offer excellent stability, ensuring your feet stay firmly planted during lifts and high-impact exercises. This stability is crucial for preventing injuries and improving performance.
Support: CrossFit shoes provide ample support for your feet and ankles, reducing the risk of strains or sprains. The midsoles are often designed to offer support during lifts while maintaining flexibility for other exercises.
Cushioning: While not as heavily cushioned as running shoes, CrossFit shoes provide enough cushioning for comfort during high-impact movements like box jumps or rope climbs.
Grip: They feature a grippy outsole that provides traction on various surfaces, from gym floors to outdoor terrain. This grip is vital for stability and safety.
Breathability: Many CrossFit shoes have breathable uppers to keep your feet cool and dry during intense workouts.
Heel-to-Toe Drop: CrossFit shoes typically have a low heel-to-toe drop, which means that the heel and forefoot are closer to the same level. This design promotes a stable and natural stance, ideal for lifting weights.
Lacing Systems: Some models have unique lacing systems or straps to ensure a secure fit and prevent the shoes from slipping during workouts.
Weight: CrossFit shoes are designed to be relatively lightweight, as heavy shoes can hinder performance during activities like box jumps or sprints.
Brand Options: Several well-known athletic brands manufacture CrossFit-specific shoes for women, including Reebok, Nike, Adidas, and others. Each brand may offer different features and styles to cater to individual preferences.
Sizing: It's essential to choose the right size and fit to prevent discomfort or injury. Many CrossFit shoes for women come in a range of sizes and widths to accommodate various foot shapes.
Choosing the right pair of CrossFit shoes for women is crucial for both performance and injury prevention. It's recommended to try on multiple pairs and consider your specific training needs when making a selection. The right CrossFit shoes can enhance your workouts and help you perform at your best while minimizing the risk of foot-related issues.

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these original ? I was looking into these shoes a week ago, and the price was around 125 for the exact same shoe |
Answer: | Thank you for reaching out. Our shoes are unisex with a 1.5 size difference between Men's and Women's. For example, a size 9 Women's Trainer is the exact same as a size 7.5 Men's Trainer. Yes, 6.5M means Male 6.5. |
Question: | ladies! what is the size variation between these and the metcons 4? i wear a size 9 in metcons, will it be the same in these |
Answer: | I personally have a hard time with anything longer than 800 meters because they begin to feel heavy, but I’ve seen a lot of guys at my CrossFit gym run a mile in them just fine. Never anything more though. |
Question: | How is the arch support on these |
Answer: | The toe box is wide in my opinion. I struggle with a narrow toe box and these were perfect |
Question: | Think these are ok for just an everyday shoe |
Answer: | That will depend on your feet but I didn’t find them too narrow |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do they run true to size |
Answer: | Actually I thought the size was ok when I first wore them, but after exercising with them, I will try the 9.5 instead of the 9 on my next purchase. |
Question: | Would these be OK for a walking shoe |
Answer: | Absolutely |
Question: | I have a wide foot. Do these shoes run wide and/or long? Trying to decide between a 7 or 7 1/2 c/d. Thanks for your input |
Answer: | I have a wide foot too. but I also like toe room in my shoes for those high impact workouts. I ordered these and I felt they were short and not truly a wide. The outer edge seemed to turn in sooner making the pinky toe uncomfy. |
Question: | Aside from the pivot circle, how or why are these better than good supportive sneakers like Saucony? Anything else making them special for zumba |
Answer: | Hi,Sorry for the late reply. I have a Saucony which I used for Zumba before I bought the Ryka. I find it more difficult to do moves like turning, twisting and pivoting. There are times when I almost tripped. Maybe it's just me. After I bought the Ryka, recommended by my Zumba instructor, I do not encounter such problem anymore. From my understanding, Ryka shoe base has a circle at the ball of the feet which helps you to turn, twist or pivot much easier & smoother. I personally find that it fit my feet well and has more cushioning than my Saucony. This makes wearing them comfortable. Hope this helps. |
