Answer:	I wore this dance shoe to West Coast Swing class. During a turn, I fell. I don't know for sure but suspect that the shoe caught on the laminate floor instead of sliding. The shoes are very comfortable so I use them for everyday wear but not for dancing.

Answer:	Bloch is a German company, but don't know where they are actually manufactured. Wonderful shoes. I have been wearing them for years.

Answer:	The shoes come all laced up and I just wear them as they are. Afraid I'm not sure about the double lacing system.

Answer:	We tried this at our local dance store before we ordered online. The guidance is purchase 1 shoe size above street shoe size because it runs small. My daughter is a size Women's 8 Medium width and we had tried on a size 9 and then ordered it online and worked great. She also uses a regular sports sock vs a thin dance sock (would slide around inside the shoe). Hope this helps.

Answer:	Not sure what X means. Shoe runs small like all Blochs. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 and have a wide foot. I wear an 11 in Bloch. This style is narrower across the toe than the Boost style, so I will switch back for more comfort.

Answer:	I wear a 9 & purchased a 9. In all of my Bloch dance shoes I generally purchase my actual shoe size so they will stretch to fit my foot exactly how I prefer. Once I broke these in, they were perfect. I have had them for 6 years now & still love them! I say it all depends on how you prefer your dance shoes to fit & what type of tights / socks you plan to wear with them.
