Answer:	My son's were a full size large, maybe a size and a half. He wore his (1.5's) until he wore a 3 in other shoes! I would say get his size or half size down so he can get some extra time out of them. They have an insole that can be removed as he grows, too.

Answer:	These are great boots. I purchased them for my 8 year old for a wedding he was in and he has worn them almost every day for 4 months now. They slip on easy and are very comfortable. He is a rough and tough boy romping in woods and fields and drags his feet. They have held up wonderfully. The leather that is scuffed is not a different color. I love these boots and my husband wishes he could find in his size. Hope this helps.

Answer:	yes you can. My nine year old daughter is currently riding with them. They keep her feet warm in a very cold barn!

Answer:	I find the Ovation Blizzard Boot runs big. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe and usually a size 8 in a boot. These are almost "sloppy" on my foot unless I wear extra thick socks. They do keep my feet warm though.

Answer:	The “light brown” is more of A taupe, slightly olive shade. They are leather. Love these boots, have 2 pairs.
