Answer:	I'm 5'2 and 135 lbs. I ordered a medium (I wear a size 6 or 8 bottoms). It is soft, but it was a bit long for me (I'm short waisted) so I felt the spines. I actually made a tiny slit and removed the 4 flexible spines, so it was an easy fix! If you are taller, the spines would be fine. I am using this as a post-op binder and it is much more comfortable and less visible than the ones with velcro or hooks. I'm happy with the purchase.
