Moissanite is a well respected gemstone with superior traits matching very closely to diamonds. Its most praised trait is that it has a brilliance that actually surpasses that of a diamond. The only drawback of moissanite is that it is barely a little under the durability of a diamond in hardness (9.25 Mohs scale, a very high score, as opposed to 10 Mohs scale, an exceptional score). As long as the ring is taken care of you should have no problem with stones falling out, also it is recommended to have the prongs tighten at least once or twice a year. The ring is real gold as well as the diamonds. We are able to offer the items at such a low price because we are the manufacturers so we make the items ourselves.
