Answer:	They are real diamonds....I bought this item for my mother in law for Christmas....First off, the diamonds are not the best grade of diamonds....as the color is I-J & the clarity of the stones are I2-I3 this is according to the specifications listed in the description on Amazon....however they way that these diamonds are set and the absolute beauty of the sterling silver (which has a high end polish) on the pendant, makes this pendant absolutely beautiful...when I received it I was honestly blown away....it's beautiful & it really has a great sparkle to it...YOU cannot go wrong with this purchase....
