Answer:	Hi, great question! Basically the 7x28 is generally best suited for kids up to about 60lbs or 52 inches tall. The 7.25x29 up to about 80lbs or 57 inches tall. The 7.4x30 for bigger kids up to 100lbs or 62 inches tall. These are just guidelines. Even the smallest board can be safely skated by a full size adult. Sometimes a more aggressive skater will prefer a smaller board as it can be more easily manipulated during complex tricks. In this case, it probably makes sense to size up, but just remember no reason to rush out to get the next size latter on just because a threshold was met, your skater may prefer to stay in that size for quite some time.
