Answer:	The entire food container is glass. Glass dish and lid. The only part that is plastic is the container for the water. Nothing plastic touches the food. This is a great steamer and I use it all the time. The glass goes right in the dishwasher and the plastic part just air dries.

Answer:	I have never used rug tape. This pad is sticky but does not leave a residue. I have had one for years that I remove in the summer and the carpet and area rug are..no sticky fine, no sticky residue or damage. I have found the rug still moves, but holds better than other rug pads or no rug pad.

Answer:	Please don’t do this if you have a large rug and live alone. It WILL bunch up and it WILL be impossible to place. It’s infinitely easier to place it on the carpet first, press down so it adheres to the carpet, then place the rug.

Answer:	The slow cooker function is high and runs around 165+ F. The "keep warm" function is low and is 145ish F degrees.

Answer:	Hi Judy - Yes this does have a beeper. When the rice is done it beeps on and off for about 5-6 seconds and automatically switches to keep warm. Once you're done you can press the power button and it toggles off so no need to unplug.
Question:	Does the lid lock while the food is cooking, or can you add new ingredients/spices halfway through
Answer:	You do not want the lid to be removable because that would require an extra (third) hand for operating the devise; and a clean and safe place to set down a removed lid. It is sufficient for the pot alone (and steamer tray) to be removable.
Question:	Can you cook noodles in it
Answer:	I have the 8-cup one and the brown rice setting cooks quinoa perfectly! You have to soak it first (minimum 6 hours) but it comes out fully cooked, light and fluffy! I just purchased the larger 20-cup cooker (the 8-cup doesn't hold enough veggies for me) and am sure the brown rice setting on the larger cooker will make quinoa perfectly as well.

Answer:	I have had that same question before (on a lot of items). And I guess it's all in the definition. I would call it aqua. It is NOT baby blue and it is not mint green. It is in-between the two. Answer:	The interior at the top is 3 3/4 inches diameter. It tapers down to about an inch less (2 3/4) at the bottom. It's true stainless steel, as it doesn't rust even though we keep it in the sink to hold used cutlery waiting to be loaded into the dishwasher.

1. In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar and baking powder. Make well in center; pour in milk, stirring until jagged dough is formed. Add water and oil; stir until combined, adding more water if needed to bring dough together.

2. On lightly floured surface, knead dough for 5 to 7 minutes or until smooth and soft. Place in bowl; cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.

3. Toss together shredded pork, green onions, hoisin, soy sauce and vinegar.

Many new appliances have a light application of non-toxic oil sprayed on internal components to protect the metal parts prior to being boxed at the factory. This coating can cause an off taste and should be cleaned off before the first use. When making ice with tap water(or spring water), minerals can build up on internal surfaces which can affect the taste. To correct these issues, clean the inside surfaces thoroughly using a thin mix of mild dish detergent and water, or a 1 part bleach to 10 parts water solution. Follow that with a good rinsing and allow to dry completely. As a final note, the use of distilled water for ice making is not harmful, and leaves fewer impurities behind to clean later. Some individuals though, may find the ice produced from distilled water to have a flat taste when compared to the natural mineral content of other water types.

Answer:	This toaster is made in China. If you are looking for toasters made in the USA, try looking for Polytron and/or Hobart corporation. I have owned a Polytron 2 slice toaster made in the USA for over 3 years, and it works great. The 4 slice toaster is made by the same company but goes under the name Hobart. You can search for "Polytron toaster" in Google. Bought mine through a vintage toaster repair guy in New York. Price is similar to Wolf toaster. Hope this helps.
