Answer:	I haven’t noticed that they have strips! Sorry!
Question:	Do these have any padding at the ball of the foot
Answer:	I'm not sure. As I said in my post my feet are 10in long from heal to tip of big toe and fit very well. They seem to have a reasonable amount stretch to go in them. But I'm just not sure how more stretch they would have and still be comfortable or as absorbent. Also to give you an idea my feet are 4in across in the toe box area. Sorry hope this helps at lest a little.

Answer:	I'm not sure because they're not water shoes and might slip off. The socks might be worth a try so your feet are protected from the cement.

Answer:	It takes a lot of work before a nail will cut thru. I have long nails and work in the dirt like I have steel claw hands. I am not gentle on myself and eventually, my thumb nail cuts thru the tip so I've gone thru a few pair. Always the same nail. So now I put a cheap bandaid over that thumb nail to give it extra cushioning. This type of glove is the best I have found to work with tho. And, I have large hands for a woman (man hands as Seinfeld calls 'em) and usually wear a lg or xlg. The lg on these work but they're a bit bigger than I like. Still quite functional tho. I love these and another brand that's identical.

Answer:	I wear a US shoe size 7 regular (not wide or narrow). The size 4-7.5 fit me perfectly but not tightly - it seems like they would also fit a slightly bigger foot.
