Answer: The Hanes size chart is not complete. It only goes up to a size XL. The XL is equivalent to a size 8 according to Hane's sizing chart. I would say go up a size from your normal panty size. I find they run about a size smaller. Currently, I wear a size 16. I purchased the 2XL and they fit me fine. Normally, an XL/size 8 would be my size. An XL in these would have been too snug for me. They're really nice.

Answer: The picture is the same product. Will cover your belly button if you size up one, In my opinion these can run small. I love Spanx but they could work a lot on sizing more appropriately.
