| Answer: | When we called Keurig about k-cups not working and appearing to break down our machine, they told us only to use k-cups “certified” by Keurig. Normally, I would call BS on this but Keurig was absolutely correct. If the coffee in the k-cup is not ground to the proper fineness, then grounds will clog the hollow part of the needle that pierces the k-cup. This will leave grounds in your brewed cup of coffee OR cause the machine to not work. Make sure you ONLY use k-cups that include the Keurig name on the label. This means it has been tested by Keurig and meets their requirements for passing through the needle. Sounds crazy, but we’ve tested this over and over with various coffee types and unless the k-cup has the Keurig name somewhere on the label, it won’t work for long. Hope this helps!! |
