Answer:	When recording a mono player to a your computer, use a mono to mono 3.5mm (1/8") phone cable. This will allow you to record the single audio channel from the cassette recorder to the computer's stereo with the same signal for both the left and right channels. You should also be able to set the recording software to record in mono.

Answer:	Not easily, no. The mic jack on this recorder is mono only. So a standard 3.5mm stereo cable won't do the trick. You would need a 3.5mm stereo to 3.5mm mono cable (or adapter). The resulting audio, of course, will be in mono only. Also, the recording head on this cassette recorder is very, very poor. I wanted to record audio for my truck and the quality was just way to low for music. It is really better suited for voice recording.

1. Before recording the music or conversation,please check the bottem of blank cassette tape both side A or B it must have two 'Recording Lip' as shown.

2. Then push O position on teh cassette door to close the cassette door and select your favourite music and program from the radio or from the mic,

adjust the volume level to suitable level or max,press the 'REC' button(in red color) start to record.

3.You can monitor the recording process through your headphone or speaker.

4. Press the 'stop' button to stop the record function.

5. To listen to the recorded programme, you can press the F.BWD button to rewind the tape and press the play button to replay the recorded programme.

6. To prevent your recorded programme from being erased you can take out the recording lip.

Answer:	Yeah. Fine for jotting down ideas. Naturally, if you were to play the amp on 20, I'm sure it would distort and sound bad. What wouldn't? The idea here, is a cheap and convenient way to electronically remember those ideas...that uses those cheap and old cassette tapes that are laying around.

Answer:	Windows controls whether you get mono (in "both" channels) or stereo. With the deck connected via USB, open Control Panel, Sound, pick your input, and set Windows to use 44.1kHz sampling 16-bit 2 channels. (USB defaults to 1 channel, but this is where you change it.)
