Answer:	I ordered a 4x although i usually wear a 3x or size 20w -22w. The 4x works but i could have easily gone down to the 3x i almost debated returning for a smaller size because i felt the 4x didnt define my waist enough. Eventually i ended up just pinning the inside of the 4x to enable it to be more fitted against my waist, i didnt exchange it because i liked the fit in other places. Good luck!

Answer:	I would order according to the chart. My hip measured 47 and I got the 2X and there was definitely wiggle room so I also ordered the 1X as would be at the top of the hip measurement at 47 and it was a tad too tight. So my answer is yes it is true to size. Hope that helps!
