Answer:	Sorry I took so long. I had to retrive the sarong from a friend's house. When layed flat, the sarong is a half-oval of fabric. The item description states approx size: 40.95" x 30.43". My approx measurements are 42" W x 17"Ht. Not sure where their 30.43" comes from. My 42" is the top measurement which will be tied around your waist. My 17" measurement is in the center of fabric that will become the length on the side of sarong on opposite hip from the knot. I decided to purchase the adult size vs kid size for my average sized 9yo daughter. The tag staes it is WS (womens small?). It fits her perfectly and will for years. Keep in mind that approx 3-4 inches of length & 8-12" of width are used in the bunching and tying of the knot. Therefore, don't expect it to hang exactly 17" from your waist on outer thigh. I really like this sarong. It makes me feel a bit more comfortable knowing my daughter is covered up by more than just a bikini. Well worth the money!

I didn’t expect them to be my preferred “normal” inseam of 34” (vs extra long for heels), and they def are not, they are at the top ankle, but I was planning on cuffing them or wearing them w heels anyway so they’re not completely high water. Main thing though is the rise IS heinously short for my height, and laughable they are described as high waist...I’d have to go up like 2 sizes I imagine before they’d even be close to seeming high waisted. I think if I size up so they’re a bit loose, they’ll still just be a normal rise, but cute still. Also the navy is almost black, in sunlight maybe it’d look bluer?
