Answer:	I'm 5'4 and 120, I got a S and they are a tad loose on me, which is what I wanted. I'd say the S would probably be a little short for you since you're 5'6" so probably a M and the tie waist makes it adjustable if you like the length. Don't be afraid to get the wrong size, returns are super easy.
