Answer:	It is flexible, however, last week we used the bag in cold temp for the first time and it is noticeably more rigid. We have used it several times, stuffed to the brim, and it appears to be durable. We have another more expensive bag but tho one seems to be just as good and the zipper closures are a plus.

Answer:	I have loaded 2 - 32oz powerade bottles, 3 - 12oz green tea cans, can of soup with ceramic bowl, 16oz glass bottle of milk, in addition to wallet, cell phone, bottle of lotion and the misc junk one thinks they need to have including an occasional umbrella without an issue other than it was very heavy lol. Since the two side handles are long enough for shoulder carry, I have put the adjustable center strap under the bag which reinforces the bottom when carrying a heavy load and keeps it from sagging. LOVE THIS BAG!!!! My thought is you could not find a better bag for twice the price of this one....buy it! Side note: since buying this bag, 5 other people in my dept at work have also purchased one and they have the same high opinion of it as I do.
