Answer:	I am not the manufacture and I cannot answer it. I think it may be more about the labor cost than materials. Any case, it is hard to find a small size and I am very happy about the item.

Answer:	I use these for work outside on a windy bridge in Rhode Island. Down to about low 40’s I’m comfortable all day in them. When it gets into 30’s I use a thin liner for being out more than a couple of hours. They’re great gloves though and hold up really well.

Answer:	When I ordered a "Large" what actually showed up was for a Cobb sized animal and was marked as such. I'm sure if it actually had been a large it would have fit.

Answer:	It was way too small for my 15.3/16 hand draft cross who is about 1700 pounds (I had gotten large size) and I wasn't impressed with the quality so I returned it. Not sure about pulling a wagon with it. If the wagon is going to be much heaver you'll probably want a collar harness instead, but i'm not an expert.
Question:	Will this fit a hackney pony - 12.2hh
Answer:	The headstall of this set of harness has a buckle on both sides where you can connect the bit. And you will also have to hook up the check line to your bit this will prevent the horse from dropping their head to low and it connects with buckles also.

I would not recommend this harness to anyone without a good sewing machine and a patient imagination! It will work for now...
