Answer:	I wear a men's size 9.5 and mediums fit great, you want these to be snug.

Thing is, these socks are mainly for preventing blisters, so they have to to fit tight. I did a 20mi run in the desert (plus many other training runs) and didn't have any problem. Great socks.
