Answer:	If I had to guess maybe 4 or 5 inches. I will say this stayed snug in my head all day and all night for my wedding. Just remember to put your decorative comb on after the veil! I was dumb lol

Answer:	I bought mine two weeks ahead of time and took it out of the box in case of wrinkles. I had it hanging by the comb to give it some time to straighten out. Mine wasn't bad enough to take to the dry cleaners but I did use a little steamer on it and it looked beautiful. If you would prefer dry cleaning, I don't see any problems with doing that as the material would be fine for it.
