Answer:	You'd have to screw through the cabinet back into drywall anchors or mount a hook on back you could lift cabinet onto the wall hook. You could find hardware to wall mount at Lowe's or Home Depot. Mine was gift to my daughter.

Answer:	The door does shut. I didn't like the door hooks so I opted to mount to the back of the door since I didn't have enough wall space. You do have to adjust the hinges to compensate for the weight but one of my better organizing purchase in awhile.

Answer:	If you have the backs on the earrings, they will still push all the way into the cork. I took a picture but it wont let me post it to my answer to your question. We have the clear rubber ones on them and also the metal ones and there is enough stud still available to be pushed into the cork.
