Answer:	No, it has no scent to it. This only works in small rooms like a restroom area. This is not for bedrooms. These filters last about 3 months before you need to replace them. In reality you can use them for close to 5 months just depends. (As Jenine M. Sciascia mentioned they do make some with a Febreeze scent, so check the box before you buy. The ones with Febreeze -usually- have the Febreeze logo on the front of the box.)

Answer:	Yes, small ones. The ends of the spring clamps are pointed so they leave a small depression. If you are painting, a little filler and paint covers it. If you are staining, a little wood filler covers the and they are no more noticeable than any fastener holes. The finished joint is far superior with these clamps compared to no clamps at all, so the holes are not a big concern to me and I am a professional carpenter and woodworker.

Answer:	No, the handle weight is around a third of the head, the balance is good, I've done wood working for age's and never owned 1, now I find myself using it all the time.
