Answer:	Carhartt Women's Pro Palm work gloves would do well gripping wet chains. The palm, finger, and thumb areas have direct injection molded C-Grip TPR coating giving them extreme grip.
Question:	Are these lined
Answer:	It takes a lot of work before a nail will cut thru. I have long nails and work in the dirt like I have steel claw hands. I am not gentle on myself and eventually, my thumb nail cuts thru the tip so I've gone thru a few pair. Always the same nail. So now I put a cheap bandaid over that thumb nail to give it extra cushioning. This type of glove is the best I have found to work with tho. And, I have large hands for a woman (man hands as Seinfeld calls 'em) and usually wear a lg or xlg. The lg on these work but they're a bit bigger than I like. Still quite functional tho. I love these and another brand that's identical.

Washable at the end so I assume they are safe to wash

Question:	Does the toxic smell ever go away? Can I wash them in the washing machine
Answer:	Hello. I have purchased several packs of these fabulous gloves. None of mine have or had any odor. I just put my nose to the ones I'm currently using for washing dishes and they have a faint smell of my dish detergent. Not sure why yours have a chemical smell. I would not like that either. I would ask the vendor.
Question:	How durable are they for dish washing? Playtex ones I use get holes in fingers within a few uses
