Answer: They are a lightweight cottony type of fabric that is slightly see through. I have to wear white boxers under mine so you can’t see through. They shrink alot in a dryer. Up to a full size smaller. If you order I recommend getting a bigger size than usual unless you prefer a close fitting pant.

Answer: These are pretty close to accurate sizes--maybe a bit large. They will shrink a little over time but won't shrink a lot unless you wash in hot water and dry in a hot dryer. Personally I prefer a loose fitting shirt so I usually order a size up. The shirt is pretty baggy at first but shrinks down after a few washes to the fuller, looser fit I prefer. I've also bought these shirts in my normal size and they fit fine...I just like a looser fit, especially in the hot summer temperatures.

Answer: No you cannot!!! Despite being clearly labelled as working OK with "120-250V" outlets, this is not the case. While on vacation in Europe my wife plugged it in to an outlet and it began sparking and almost caught on fire. Most regular sized irons are 11 to 12 inches. This is called a mini iron. This is from the drop down menu below the regular iron. It is important to read all the descriptions to know what you are getting.
Question: Does it work well on African American or mixed curly hair
Answer: I've had this flat iron for 5 or 6 years, I've used it for maybe about 3 of those years where my hair was a mix of natural and permed, and YES it works very well on African American hair. There is a heat controlled setting on this flat iron. So, to the person that states it's too hot and breaks an AA's hair off, first of all, not all AA's hair is the same. My hair requires a greater amount of heat to straighten. Second, I don't think they are using the setting correctly because the heat setting can be controlled. It will fry anyone's hair (fabrics, clothing, etc.) on the highest setting, which I believe is 450 deg. I keep it right around 410 deg. I use this to achieve very straight styles (or right after a shampoo and blow dry) and my mini for daily use. I also use this with a thermal protector like Mizani thermal protector. I also use to use this with the Mizani's Gloss Veil when until they stopped making it. Make a long story short, it can get very hot, but don't use it on it's highest setting.
Question: what is the difference between the 3rd generation and regular iron
Answer: I believe the only difference is that the 3rd generation has slightly longer plates than the regular iron. Neither of these flat irons are of the current generation, which is why they're being sold so cheaply. I think they must be a few years old, because if you look at the current 1-inch flat iron on HSI's website, it's slightly different and costs quite a bit more. That said, I bought the regular iron here and I could not be happier with it. It's everything I wanted. I can curl or straighten my hair, it doesn't burn, the temperature can be adjusted so easily. My only warning is that it doesn't have an automatic turn-off, so you need to be someone who can always remember to turn it off or unplug it.

Answer: you'll be fine - they tend to run slightly larger in size, but when you dry them they will shrink some. I have tank tops, short and long sleeve T's. Tanks do not shrink at all that I have noticed, but for some reason shrinkage occurs in the bottom of the shirts, but not bad at all. If you do not want ANY shrinkage, just hang them to dry or use a low heat cycle on the dryer. I love them - they have a good thick cotton feel - not the cheap thin crap.

Question: I wear a 2xlt or 3xlt depending on how snug the fit is. Im 6'3" 315 lbs with a 53-55 in chest.Which should I order in these shirts
Answer: It has been my experience that these shirts are true fitting. They are of great quality. Not the thickest but not flimsy and a great collar. These are not the type that stretch out. With that being said and you are a big boy, I would go with what you typically wear in a regular t-shirt, but my gut says 3xl. My son is 6'2" and 220 and wears an extra large. I have bought over 10 shirts. He is very broad shoulders and needs the room in the shoulders. If you need the room in the belly it would be best to get the shirt with a little more length.
