But if you veer toward the finer end of the coarse scale, the grinds get more consistent. This is due to the conical burr mechanism of this device, which is primarily for expresso machine or stovepot. I was suspicious and ordered another from Amazon (not just fulfilled by Amazon). The real mill came in a Hario box with the Hario name on the handle, glass, and mill. The plastic, ceramic, glass and metal details are different and of better quality with the real Hario. Beware of this seller.
