Answer:	It's a little big for a child. I needed for adults and children so I cut some in half so it wasn't too bulky when tied around their necks as cowboys. Most of the kids (3-9) just wore them as is.

Answer:	The thickness is determined by thread size, this bandana is a 32s, the thread count is 68x68. A decent bandana will be in 30s to 32s range, 30s being thicker & heavier. It is a bit technical, you can go to a fabric store and look at the 100% cotton fabric rolls used to make quilts, it is the same material used for bandanas. I hope this helps.

Question:	Many of the reviews say the bandanas are not double sided as stated in the product description. Is this always the case? I do not want one sided
Answer:	The color/print is on both sides, however on some of the darker colors one of the sides is not as vibrant.
