Answer:	Depending on how big he is this toddler size baseball cap should fit. It has a Velcro strap in the back to make it bigger or smaller. I bought this hat for my 2 year old grandson and it fit fine at the smallest setting and he is a big boy.

Answer:	The toddler size has an elastic band in the back, but is not adjustable. The elastic will allow cap to secure the cap on a toddler’s head.

Answer:	I would say it is close but I erred on the side of caution. My son was just wearing 4T clothes on his 3nd birthday ( they looked a little loose). I ordered. 4T for him and it fit great. He is on the taller side but more average for weight.
