Answer:	Indeed, this scope works great for casual astronomical viewing. I bought this scope several years ago to view the distant landscape below from my mountainside home. I was amazed at how bright, clear and close the images appeared. Eventually I decided to check out a bright star. It turned out to be Jupiter. I could not only see the bands of Jupiter, but also it's 4 Galilean moons. But then I decided tpo use it on Saturn and was amazed out how large and clearly I could see the planet and its rings. Anyone who i showed Saturn to was equally amazed. Although not an astronomical piece for the serious astronomer, it works better than many equally or cheaper "astronomical telescopes". I love this scope. It was a great decision for me and I have been using it flawlessly now for almost ten years.

Answer:	I've only used my smartphone camera on my Celestron scope (the 80mm Ultima). I mount it with a Gosky adapter I bought from Amazon. It consists of two simple screw vise clamps, connected by a third screw in a long slot. The flat, rectangular clamp holds your phone; the diamond-shaped clamp fits around the scope eyepiece. The screw that holds the two clamps together is in a long slot to give just about infinite flexibility in lining the camera up with the eyepiece of the scope.Alignment is touchy. The camera lens has to be exactly lined up with the image from the eyepiece, or you'll get a dark, partial image, like a crescent moon portion of the view you're trying to get. A 20x - 60x spotting scope is roughly equivalent to a 1000mm - 3000mm lens on a 35mm camera. Any motion will show as violent vibration through the scope. Your eyes can deal with that, more or less, but a camera will record terribly blurred shots. You'll need some way to trigger your camera without touching it. One of the new Gosky models comes with a Bluetooth button that pairs with your smartphone. My phone has a voice-activated shutter option, so I can lean over the phone and say "cheese" or one of its other trigger words.My phone clamp is too shallow to hold anything thicker than a smartphone. On the other hand, the spotting scope's zoom capability is in that eyepiece, so maybe that idea won't fly.I bought my Celestron for use at a rifle range, and I have photographs on my smartphone that show holes in paper, less than 1/4" in diameter, seen through 300 yards of rain. they're barely visible, but it works. Driving back from the range once, I stopped to photograph an eagle perched by its nest, again using the Celestron and my phone. It's tricky lining the phone and scope eyepiece up, but it works.
Question:	Any recommendations for replacement watch bands? I noticed its a 21mm length, however most I see are 18, 20, 22mm - not sure if any of those work
Answer:	Depends on what you are rtying to see. With this scope racked out to 66x at 1000yds you will be viewing your target as though you were approximately 50-55ft from it. Whether or not you can see your bullet holes depends on the available light and the contrast between the hole and the target. Viewing a black hole on black target face is tough at 50 feet. Use a splatter target and you have a chance.
Question:	Will any replacement band fit this watch? Even if you take care of it, eventually this watch will need a new band and the place where the band
Answer:	I use the 100mm for shore birds. It has a long reach to see far off birds. It's great to use when you have a car. If you're hiking, it'll be too cumbersome for any long distance. It's great when you're driving though a nature preserve or a park. It's quick to set up and you will see things no one else could think of seeing. I've had people ask me what are you looking at? I'm looking at that bird in the tree just past the lake. I can't even see the lake. That's why I have the 100mm, I can see the lake, the tree and the painted bunting in the tree.

Answer:	It lists the 2014 expedition EL Limited like I have BUT I and many others whom answered my previous question found it will not be strong enough to retract. It will try to retract but fail and stay in down position. Maybe we got duds or maybe they arent correct for the longer suv. My hinges are in perfect condition so that is not the problem. I've been searching for hours if their are different ones for the EL model but having found any specific answers.

It's easy to fix though; just google 'remagetizing a compass'. You can do it with any reasonably strong magnet.
