For tide clock, indicator hand always rotates clockwise, so tide is rising when hand is pointing left and falling when pointing right. Number of hours to next high/low tide is shown on tide scale. The primary factor in determining tides is moon position. Tide clock uses moon position to predict high and low tides, which are 6 hours and 12.5 minutes apart. Tides are also influenced by sun position and shape of shoreline, so tide clock cannot precisely give times of high and low tides. Periodic adjustment may be necessary. To set tide clock, pull crown to MIDDLE position. Press either TIDE or TEMP push button to move hand to current tide. TIDE and TEMP push buttons move hand clockwise and counterclockwise, respectively. Push crown in when done.

Question:	I love the looks and the functions so cleverly shown in the videos but I have the sensation this watch is small. I'm I wrong
Answer:	I own this watch and it is one of my favorites. The diameter is 1 and 3/4 inches. The only problem I have with it is that the back is a snap on that has to be removed in a few years to change the battery. That has been a problem with me as I have found it impossible to replace the back. in spite of purchasing special tools and lubricant to perform the task. If anybody knows of a method, please share it with us. I suppose I could take it to a jeweler but I prefer to do it my self as I really enjoy watches and have many of them.
Question:	Is there a special way to replace the watch band? tried switching it out for a sillicon band but am having trouble getting the original one off
Answer:	It's tricky. It takes two small screwdrivers. One on each side of the pin. One side is very short Probably 3/8 inch. The other is the width of the band.

Can you buy extra links for this watch bracelet

Answer:

To the best of my knowledge, once you push the 'tide' button (the one at the 4 o'clock position) the watch will stay in that mode until one of the other buttons (compass or temperature) is pushed. The compass function will not stay on indefinitely when activated, and reverts to the temperature mode after about 20 seconds. However, if you are in the tide-indicating mode and activate the compass, the watch will revert to the tide mode after about 20 seconds. The compass is probably a fluxgate unit and, if so, requires extra power over what is needed to simply show the time, tide or temperature. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes. It does have a count down timer and a countdown repeat timer that i use as a nurse to remind myself to do things. The entire watch is easy to set up. Ive bought this watch since ive been 20 and im 41. I also like the band material since im allergic to all the rubber type bands. Excellent, well priced watch. Enjoy.
Question:	Will this fit an 8-year old with a small wrist? Is it designed for kids
Answer:	My wrist is 6 inches in circumference and it fits perfectly. I think it was designed to fit a woman's wrist but it can fit a fine-boned man's wrist with the fastwrap strap because my husband had a similar one with a fastwrap a few years ago. If your 8 year old's wrist is much smaller than 6 inches it will still grip but she might have a little lose end tab on the end of the strap to deal with.
