Answer:	I went to my local Macy's store and compare the watch to the one that they had in stock. There were three things different about my watch in the one they had: mine says Swiss made at the bottom of the dial and is missing the words stainless steel and sapphire crystal on the back of the watch. However, the 42 mm version of the watch had those same differences. I checked with Hamilton customer support and they said that it was probably just a production run difference. Also, my watch band goes with the 40 mm version of the watch but those things get swapped so often that doesn't surprise me. Based on this, I'd have to say your watch is probably authentic.

Answer:	I have the Men's Hamilton Khaki Field H69439931 (no date complication) which is very similar in that it is also rated as up to 80 hours on a fully wound main spring. I have had mine run for more than 72 hours and when I did wind the watch it took 30 rotations. If I wind it daily, it's typically about 15-20 rotations. I have to say, The Field Khaki is my favorite watch out of the dozen or so watches I own (auto wind, solar(seiko)/eco(citizens) charge, and manual wind). The accuracy is about =/- 10-15 seconds a week (typically it will be fast). For the price, you get a lot of old-skewl goodness;-)>
