Answer:	The lug width is 18mm -- if you get a two-piece nylon watch strap e.g. not a NATO strap it will last longer than the stock rubber strap.

Answer:	I think a previous commenter may be on to something. I've worn this model for decades, and generally each watch has lasted at least half a dozen years. I've worn them swimming in the pool and in the ocean, and diving down to 20 m. Once or twice before, a watch I'd had for many years got some water inside after a prolonged period in the water. My latest F91-W got water inside and portions of the display failed the first time I had it submerged (an hour and a half in a hot tub, underwater more about half the time). So maybe Casio changed something about the materials or manufacturing process that makes it more susceptible to water. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for exposure like kayaking, pouring rain, taking a swim, etc. In any case it's an incredible watch -- super light, very long battery life, useful functions, unobtrusive and unpretentious -- and a new one is just a day or two and a dozen dollars away if you choose to use it in submersion settings and it fails. (I wouldn't press the buttons while it's submerged, though: that's asking for trouble.)

Answer:	Even the counterfeit versions of this are almost $10. Department stores sell Crappy Chinese quartz watches made of pot metal, with designers logos on them, for $200+. Go complain there instead.

If you would like to use a NATO type strap,get a thin one. Standard spring bars,that come with the watch,are 1.8mm thick. Getting a pair that's 1.6mm thick will make using a NATO strap easier,you can find these easily on Amazon

Answer:	Yes, it is absolutely vegan. So much so that when I tried to feed it anything I ate, it refused to eat at all and nearly starved to death. But here's the problem: feeding this thing its vegan diet costs me more per month than the watch did in the first place. Even so, it is friendly, conversational, and absolutely loyal, which is more than I can say for any of my family members or friends. Answer:	No this watch is rated as 100m water resistance meaning it can be worn around sinks, during swimming, poolside diving but not highboard diving and surfing. DO NOT Press any buttons while the watch is sub merged in water or the watch will take in moisture

Answer:	I have purchase Casio many times in the past but with my current hearing loss, I now require a vibrating alarm. My latest is a Timex and about 2 or 3 years old. It has 3 alarms with a two minute delay (each will buzz 7 times in a row and then two minutes later). I set it five minutes before the alarm on my cell phone and the watch wakes me up before the cell - the cell is a backup only. This give me time to cancel the backup and not wake my wife. The alarms can also be set for full week, weekdays or weekends only. The countdown timer is auto-reset if you select the function. I have set mine for every 6 hours - must start at a given time as it is interval only. it goes off at 6am - noon - 6pm and midnight. My hearing loss is Service related so I also use the 24 hour world time setting! Coming up on 63 the large readout is a plus. Also the when the alarm or countdown timer activates - it flashes the with a soft glow green on the face.

Answer:	It's a black dial. From my watch: diameter is 43mm, thickness is 14.5mm, lug width is 22mm (i.e. strap width), lug-to-lug is 51mm.

Answer:	The movement is a "Made in Japan" movement. Most Orient watches are not fully made in Japan (they own factories across Asia and the Pacific islands). Retailers inside Japan do offer a "Made in Japan" version, but most of the suppliers on Amazon are "Japan Movement" watches. There is zero difference in the actual quality of watch. ("Made in Japan" labeling just means the shift supervisors were Japanese; the factory itself does not need to be in Japan according to the country's labeling laws.)

Answer:	Hello. You must not change and adjust the date between 22:00 and 1:00. Between this time the machine is working to change day and date and if you change you can damage your watch.
