User questions & answers
Question: | Does its movement number is |
Answer: | Watch and bracelet together weigh 3.25 oz. It's very light, and I like that. |
Question: | is the watch band replacable |
Answer: | I bought a waveceptor like this for less than $100 with a very light titanium band and bezel in 2005 and it is still working today (2019) on the same battery. It has been working continuously for over 14 years and I'm still wearing it. I never paid any attention to how much light it gets and it always worked fine. In my watch, the middle part of the case and and where the band connects are plastic covered with metal layer. It's quite tough, but partially peeling now. Also the crystal is very hard to scratch, but not mineral, and can be scratched or melted with high temperature. |
Question: | what is it's weight |
Answer: | Hi,Thanks for your question - Our mortar and pestle holds approximately 8 ounces of liquid! |
Question: | Does anyone know the length of time for the battery? In other words how long does the battery last |
Answer: | Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Our EZ-Grip Mortar and Pestle is made in China. We take great pride in developing strong and sustained relationships with quality manufacturers abroad. We believe that this helps us ensure the quality of our products! Thank you again and best wishes, Julie, Co-Founder Cooler Kitchen |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the case size |
Answer: | No, it only beeps! |
Question: | Does anyone know where I can get the bezel and straps replacement for this watch |
Answer: | I go recreational scuba diving with this watches predecessor ... the AWG-100-1A (4765). I have never had a problem with it and have owned it since May 16, 2010. I go on a diving trip at least once per year and typically do at least 12 dives per trip. Deepest I have been with this watch is about 95 feet (but not long at that depth). My average depth is 50-60 feet. |
Question: | Does this watch have a vibration alarm |
Answer: | Yes. The movement is 5161. You can find the operation manual online and download it. Reading it on the computer is far easier than trying to read the tiny booklet that comes with the watch. Search for "Operation Guide 5161." |
Question: | Can you go scuba diving with no problem |
Answer: | Hello, I looked all the watch band and it seems it can be replaced but not with the ordinary tool I have at home. If I want to do it, I would need to go to an authorized service and support service center. I hope this helps. |

Question: | Does it automatically receive and sync its time from an *external* source, such as the WWVB Atomic Clock time signal transmitted from Colorado |

User questions & answers
Question: | does it has in built battery even though is solar |
Answer: | Yes. All solar watches have batteries, they're just rechargeable (or a capacitor). Otherwise, they'd turn off and reset every time they were in the dark. This watch uses a CTL1616. They're about $20, and last 10 or more years before needing replacement. |
Question: | does this have auto El |
Answer: | Yes it has auto EL, it can be set to manual or auto. |

Answer: | I had one in Afghanistan that did not. However I just set it for Kabul time ( one of the features) and it stayed accurate for a 8 month deployment. Not sure about Europe. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can the compass be used underwater |
Answer: | We do not recommend pressing buttons on the watch underwater. |
Question: | where can i get a replacement body for this watch |
Answer: | google casio. If you send it to them they will fix it for free if its still under the 1 year warranty, otherwise they will charge you for it. But I've had such bad luck with this watch that I would suggest scraping it and buying another casio at a brick and morter shop that will give good customer service. |
Question: | How long do the batteries typically last? Is it possible to replace the battery or does it need to be returned to Casio |
Answer: | I purchased mine on August 17th, 2012 and it is still going strong. It is my constant companion. I wear it scuba diving, boating, camping, Global travel- you name it. It has never lost a charge, never lost time, has been “five 9s” reliable (99.999%). It’s all dinged up, and my wife nags me about it’s looks but it does it all - and keeps doing it all. The power/battery indicator always shows fully charged. You cannot ask for more. |
Question: | States model year 2011, what's different between this and the $300 2012-15 models currently in retail stores? Also, is bezel fixed or adjustable |
Answer: | Bezel is NOT fixed. Not sure of the year model difference other then a reason to charge more. What I can tell you is that with my older watch PAW-1500 after about 5yrs, I was sending it in each year, for $25ea, to have it reset because the display would freeze and the buttons would not function. After 2 years of this, I upgraded last year to the PRW-2500. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I’m having trouble set up the time for Los Angeles I left it by the window overnight like it said to do any advice please |
Answer: | No. It might be the shipping weight including packaging, but not for the watch. |
Question: | I just bought one of these and my dog tore up the bezel and the bands, where can i get replacement parts |
Answer: | I believe it does change automatically. I don't use that feature because Arizona doesn't use it. It is strange to see the hands move to the correct time. |
Question: | Does this watch really weigh 2 pounds |
Answer: | I have had two Casio watches and neither has ever RESET itself to 1-1-2005. It does keep perfect time and does set the time every night; even with daylight savings time. |
Question: | Does this watch automatically change with daylight saving time? How does it work in regard to daylight saving time? Thank you |
Answer: | The band will easily outlive the watch itself. Mine is 10 years old and I take my watch off every night to sleep and put back on every morning. LOVE this watch! |

User questions & answers
Question: | how large is this watch? I ordered a G-shock for Christmas and it was huge. Sent it back, want to make sure its is not one of the oversize ones |
Answer: | Case size- 52.5 x 46.4 x 15.6mm |
Question: | my watch arrived yesterday how does it set itself it has a blank screen |
Answer: | First of all, be absolutely sure that you have set up the home location correctly. There are 6 different atomic time transmitters all over the world, and the watch picks the one to "listen for" by knowing what transmitter is closest. Just like trying to tune in a radio station in New York when you are located in Tokyo, it won't work. Second, set the time manually once, getting it at least correct to within 10 minutes or so. If it is 6 PM and you accidentally set the watch to 6 AM (been there, done that) the watch will not "listen" for the time broadcast at the proper time. These time transmitters operate at very low radio frequencies, and the radio signals don't carry very well during the day time. They are easiest to receive between midnight and about 5 AM local time. If either of those things are set wrong, automatic sync is almost guaranteed to fail, and correcting them might be all you need to succeed. If not, then the operation guide gives lots of tips on things to avoid and things to try. In my own experience, when I lived in a southern suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul, my watch sync'ed almost every night even though I slept with it on my wrist. When I lived in San Antonio with high-voltage power lines running near my back yard, it almost never sync'ed unless I took it off overnight and placed it on a windowsill pointed towards Fort Collins. Yeah, San Antonio is slightly further from Fort Collins than Minneapolis is, but I'm pretty sure it was radio frequency noise from the high voltage power lines, because I moved to the top of a hill near Canyon Lake, Texas, about the same distance from Fort Collins as San Antonio, and now the watch syncs almost every night again while I wear it. If everything else fails, try to locate a ham radio operator who can bring over a radio that can "listen" for radio frequency interference noise (places in your house to avoid) and maybe even tune in the WWVB broadcast and find out where it is strongest. Good luck! |
Question: | Does anybody happen to know the diameter of the crystal? I'd like to find myself a screen protector for added toughness |
Answer: | You need to set the Home City to LAX for Los Angeles during setup. If you need assistance you can email Casio directly at [email protected] and someone will be able to assist you. |
Question: | I have owned this watch for three weeks and have tried numerous times to get it to synch with Ft. Collins. Does anyone have a suggestion |
Answer: | I have ordered from someone eBay before for a different model. Just make sure you order one corresponding to the model code on the back. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this shiny black or flat black |
Answer: | yes |
Question: | Can i get a different band |
Answer: | According to the manual, 8 hours of fluorescent light (or 8 minutes of direct sunlight) will generate enough power for normal daily operation. If the watch gets some outdoor sunlight during the course of a day, it will be fine. A full charge will allow the watch to keep time for six months. See pages E-18ff and E-94 of the manual. With a modern solar-powered watch you really never need to think about power. Just don't leave it in a closed drawer. |
Question: | Can you mute the beeps that happen when you press the buttons |
Answer: | This is NOT one of the gargantuan G-Shocks. 7 1/4 " wrist here and it fits very nicely. Not too big at all, some have complained that it's undersized! Not too big, not too small in my humble opinion. |
Question: | So this says solar power but does it have back up batteries if my husband works in doors and it can't get solar charged |
Answer: | Depends if the battery has any charge or not.Click the G button to see if the watch can display. Then read the manual that came with the watch to figure out how to set the watch manually. In the manual, by default the watch will automatically try to set itself every hour for 6 hours starting at midnight. If it doesn't have a charge, and the screen doesn't display, leave the watch in the light for a while. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How long does battery last |
Answer: | When I received this wallet their were credit card shaped thin cardboard cut outs stuck in the RFID protected pockets. This would be the (3) pockets on the right side, the (3) pockets on the left side, and the one pocket in the center behind the pocket with the window. The windowed pocket typically used for the drivers license is considered not protected. The exterior of the wallet has RFID protective material sandwiched between the outer leather and the interior material were the currency is kept. This RFID material does not run the full length of the wallet thru both folds, but is in three separate pieces. Obviously the RFID material would not hold up to the constant opening and closing of the folds. |
Question: | What's the watches battery life |
Answer: | In the U.S. 32% of consumers reported fraud in the last 5 years according to ACI Worlwide which supplies payment systems to financial institutions and it's growing. Skimming is the primary cause. Thank you for your question and interest in our products. |
Question: | I have a large wrist will I have to have this watch band adjusted |
Answer: | It has 8 slots for cards but at the moment my husband has managed to squeeze 12 cards into it. He says it is a bit difficult to get them out when there are so many in there. Hope this helps. |
Question: | What battery is needed for replacement in the Casio WV58 Waveceptor |
Answer: | No it does not come with the $100.00 Bill. |
