Answer:	The lug width is 18mm -- if you get a two-piece nylon watch strap e.g. not a NATO strap it will last longer than the stock rubber strap.

Answer:	I think a previous commenter may be on to something. I've worn this model for decades, and generally each watch has lasted at least half a dozen years. I've worn them swimming in the pool and in the ocean, and diving down to 20 m. Once or twice before, a watch I'd had for many years got some water inside after a prolonged period in the water. My latest F91-W got water inside and portions of the display failed the first time I had it submerged (an hour and a half in a hot tub, underwater more about half the time). So maybe Casio changed something about the materials or manufacturing process that makes it more susceptible to water. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for exposure like kayaking, pouring rain, taking a swim, etc. In any case it's an incredible watch -- super light, very long battery life, useful functions, unobtrusive and unpretentious -- and a new one is just a day or two and a dozen dollars away if you choose to use it in submersion settings and it fails. (I wouldn't press the buttons while it's submerged, though: that's asking for trouble.)

Answer:	The only thing I can think of beside just pure whimsy on the part of the designer is that he's the frog prince.

Answer:	Yes they are. I have 15 Kurt Adler Nutcrackers and I love them all. I find them to be well made and beautifully crafted.
Question:	Is this a real casio watch
Answer:	I'm sure it probably does but we just use it as a decorative piece. My son loves it and keeps it in his room. You might want something less decorative and a bit more functional for actual nut cracking but if you love it, I'm sure it will work. Good luck!
