Answer:	Actually it does have a use. If you quickly or immediately need to count out some seconds (10 or 20 for example) you can easily do it with the indicator. You don't have open the timer and some people find it easier than watching the seconds numbers.

Answer:	I bought the GWM5610-1 for my dad and he loves it. Can't beat it for the money. As far as the difference between the GwM5610-1ER, I'm not sure. They both say 20bar water resistant. Good question.
Question:	Does the automic timing keeping able to work in Singapore or Malaysia
Answer:	The Casio answer is actually incorrect. The time signal is low frequency and can travel a very long distance, especially at night (when the watch is programmed to sync). For example, I live in the East Coast of the US, about 2400 km from the US station in CO, and my devices can pick up the signal at night.
Question:	Full auto el backlight with afterglow does not work
Answer:	You can test the auto EL light regardless of the room lighting. Press the 2 left buttons and the top right button at the same time. You will see "Tilt" on the display. Now just tip the watch and it will display 8888 on the screen if the tilt worked. I had to return my first one, the second one is perfect. I didn't think I would really even use the Auto EL but I like using it.

Answer:	Depends on how much the watch face has been exposed to the sun or other source of light. In general the illumination is not that bright. Better to set the digital mode to time then use the light button to illuminate the bottom portion of the watch face.
