Question:	is the item durable
Answer:	There are a few ways I see durability. First and foremost is structural durability, these pants are really well stitched. The fabric does not catch on things and when it does typically you'll hear and feel a small snag and then it will let go. No holes. The bottoms of the legs have great stitching and as long as you order the proper size you shouldn't see any fraying. The fabric is water resistant and thus stains are few and far between. I expect that to dissipate over time. I would apply a repellant for fabrics after 7 washes. The other aspect of durability is aesthetics. The main characteristic here is color. My pants came in Coyote and we're very dark tan. After washing them, they lightened up considerably. A few shades darker than khaki. So overall; yes it is durable.

Answer:	Yes it does. Hidden in the waistband. Not the grandpa type. I love these pants. Super comfortable, crisp looking, and tough as nails.

Answer:	The length of the unhemmed pant is 37.5"-- so the longest you can hem to would be 37".

Answer:	Yes! But they don't really show it. I'm 6'4" and buy the 34w unhemmed. The expandable waist is spectacular. I use them in the field for plumbing and electrical trades. Because of my build, I have to be pretty flexible to do some of my work and with a 36" inseam climbing can be a giant pain in the ass. These pants are very forgiving in range of movement. When I work plumbing jobs they get the daylights beaten out of them and they hold up extremely well.

Answer:	Belt size is 36-42; it's between 1 and 1.25 inches wide.

Answer:	The waist is not elastic. Worse, the "belt" that comes with it constantly slips/loosens. I brought a good belt and the pants then worked ok.

Answer:	length (mine 32") was fine. I am a 50" waste and ordered a 54" just to be safe. A 50" waste probably would have been fine, but next time I'll order a 52" just to be safe (a hedge against more weight gain). Having said all that, ordering the correct size would have given me an exact fit!

Answer:	Seems a very low price is listed to draw you in. An age-old gimic. But the low price is usually for an emaciated waist that fits few, like a waste size of 28. But pick a larger waist size (face it - we all have to) & price doubles. So I view it as a typical marketing ploy. Also, if a product is just introduced, price can be surprisingly low. But when you try to reorder more at same price, even several days later, forget it. Price has jumped up. So if you are ordering a new product at a great price & think you will really like it, I suggest you order several at that low intro price which is about to inflate faster than my waist size. You can always return some of them thanks to Prime membership. I am a retired psychologist but the "marketeers" humble me with their strategic mastery of subtle customer manipulation. But Amazon is one of the most "on the level" companies out there, which is why I try to buy everything I need with my Prime membership. I wandered off to another website last week & bought 2 pantries at a clearance price. Then discovered Amazon offered the same product $40 cheaper. I called the "Brand X" company & was basically informed "tough luck." Also, if a problem persists with a product purchased thru Amazon their customer service reps have ALWAYS solved it for me in the past 7 years. Amazon really keeps their sellers in line. But on clothes, we always have to use our best guess when it comes to foreign made clothing sizes. reading the reviews are very helpful as they usually advise picking several sizes larger than we are used to with US clothing racks - and that is apart from the shrinkage issue when later washed! Question:	I'm 6' 135lbs with slim body, usually wear 32 in Levi's; since it has a stretchy waist should I go size down or stick with my normal size
Answer:	Tough question. Are your levi's really 32? Levis shrink when washed. I wear 32" 5.11. When I snap the waist and measure it's really 36" because of elastic. Amazon is very good about returns if they don't fit. Have fun.
Question:	What is the circumference or the width around the ankles of the botton of the pants
Answer:	A very generous 16 inches. Perfect to fit over any work or military boot
Question:	I’m generally 31/32. I’m 5’7” will a 32 length fit me
Answer:	May be a tad long as you are a "31/32," but I've found that the sizes for these pants are pretty accurate. I'm 6.0 feet tall and take a 32/33 inseam; the 32 fits me fine.
Question:	How breathable are these pants. Are they good for hot weather
Answer:	I wore mine for the first time yesterday on two separate hikes, the first was 8 miles, outside temp was 80 degrees F, the total elevation gain was 1900+ vertical feet, hiking with about 20 pounds of gear/water in my pack. By the time I reached the summit the crotch was soaked with sweat, seriously it looked like I peed my pants. I'm used to hiking in hot weather and have a variety of hiking pants from lightweight to fleece-lined for different conditions, these were hotter than I anticipated. The second hike was later in the day, at a higher elevation, and with cooler temps, during this hike, the pants finally dried out and were quite comfortable from then on. I think they'd be a perfect early/late season pant. My primary purpose for getting these was the ripstop material and to use them while bushwhacking through dense underbrush. They held up well in the overgrown trail I was on. My solution to the 'breathability' issue will be to add a series of 4 small grommets in the gusseted crotch area to allow for some air circulation, it's an easy fix to an otherwise solid pair of pants. I'll definitely be getting another pair as I like all the pockets, the heavy-duty belt loops, and the durability of the material.
