11 best men s insulated coveralls
Men's insulated coveralls are a type of workwear designed to provide warmth and protection in cold or harsh environments. They are commonly worn by workers in various industries, such as construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and outdoor professions. Here are some key features and information about men's insulated coveralls:
Insulation: These coveralls are insulated with materials like polyester fiberfill or thermal lining to provide warmth in cold weather conditions. The insulation helps to trap body heat, keeping the wearer comfortable in low temperatures.
Material: They are typically made from durable and rugged materials like canvas, duck cloth, or polyester blends. These materials are chosen for their ability to withstand wear and tear in demanding work environments.
Design: Men's insulated coveralls usually have a one-piece design, covering the entire body from neck to ankle. This design helps to prevent drafts and cold air from entering, ensuring maximum warmth.
Closure: They often feature a front zipper or snap-button closure for easy on and off. Some coveralls also have additional closures at the wrists and ankles to further seal out cold air.
Pockets: Many coveralls come equipped with multiple pockets for storing tools and other essentials. These pockets are typically placed on the chest, sides, and legs, making it convenient for workers to access their tools while on the job.
Hood: Some insulated coveralls come with an attached hood to provide extra protection for the head and neck in extremely cold conditions.
Water-Resistant: While not all insulated coveralls are waterproof, some models feature water-resistant coatings or treatments to keep the wearer dry in wet or snowy conditions.
Sizing: Men's insulated coveralls are available in various sizes to ensure a comfortable fit. It's essential to choose the right size to allow for ease of movement while working.
Safety: Depending on the specific work environment, some coveralls may also include safety features like reflective strips for increased visibility, especially for those working in low-light conditions.
Maintenance: These coveralls typically require proper care and maintenance to ensure their longevity. This may include regular cleaning and checking for any damage to the insulation or fabric.
Overall, men's insulated coveralls are designed to provide both warmth and protection for individuals working in cold, outdoor, or rugged environments. They are an essential piece of workwear for those who need to stay warm and comfortable while performing physically demanding tasks in challenging conditions.

Through its dedication to innovation and continual customer contact, Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. has transformed itself from a small bib overall company to the largest workwear manufacturer in the world. Sold in every state in the U.S., Dickies now offers a broad spectrum of work garments ranging from work pants and work shirts to denim jeans and women's workwear. Since its beginnings in 1922, every piece of Dickies workwear has stood for the quality, toughness, and pride that embodies the spirit of the American worker.
C.N. Williamson and E.E. 'Colonel' Dickie began their business careers in the 'vehicle and harness' business in Bryan, Texas. In 1918, they made what turned out to be a momentous decision when they and a few friends established the U.S. Overall Company. Then, in 1922, C. Don Williamson joined with his father and cousin to buy 100% of the overall company on a one-third-each basis and renamed it Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company.
From its early years, Williamson-Dickie enjoyed steady growth, slowed only by the Great Depression, and during World War II, the company was sequestered to produce millions of uniforms for the nation's armed forces. In converting to civilian production after the war, C. Don Williamson began a strategy of geographical expansion and established new production facilities, warehouses, and sales territories throughout the United States. In the late 1950's, Williamson-Dickie became an international company by expanding into the European market and the Middle Eastern market - where Texas oilmen introduced the Dickies brand to Middle Eastern oil fields.
While Williamson-Dickie began as a bib overall company, today it has grown to be the number one manufacturer of work apparel worldwide. By continually expanding and updating its selection, Williamson-Dickie now offers garments ranging from its staple work pants and work shirts to items such as women's workwear, chore coats, and denim jeans. Dickies workwear is currently sold in all 50 states and throughout the world in countries such as South Africa, Australia, Russia, Chile, Japan, Iceland, Canada, Europe and Mexico.

User questions & answers
Question: | what is the length and waist for large short |
Answer: | plain brown box |
Question: | Is there inner cuffs that are tight around the wrists |
Answer: | I have the 600watt and MH and HPS lights put off high heat, however this enclosed hood with a 6" vent fan pulls the hot air outside for me. You'll need to vent your grow area anyways if you want them to grow right. I put an 6" dryer hose on one end of the light hood then to a 6" vent fan ($20) then more dryer hose taking the old hot air outside. You can email me at [email protected] I can help you out with pics and more info.. This is the best light set up type |
Question: | Need size to match 46” - 34” what should I order size wise |
Answer: | Not that I've been able to find. All of mine are pretty quiet, BUT they DO sound like a fan running constantly on medium-to-high speed (though lowering the dimmer setting on the ballast should lower the noise a bit; not much, but it should go down a tiny bit, lol), which is actually pretty quiet compared to the alternative of magnetic ballasts that are much louder and get much hotter to the point of causing fires (which is why so many companies made that switch to digital). You can always build a Faraday Cage and put the ballast inside, which will cut down on any RF interference and should muffle some of the noise, but as far as i've been able to find, there's not really any way of quieting them much more than that. Sorry =-) |
Question: | Will these shrink with washing? The L is too long in the leg (I'm 5'10.5") and baggy at the waist (I'm 36", but fairly trim). Would M be better |
Answer: | No. And no.... |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is there a 3xl tall? Is that what 3T is? Confused as it is at the top of the list where the small sizes are |
Answer: | No that's a small size don't believe on some comments on this item if your 5/7 130 or 140 pounds get small size don't get a large size on what some people said on their reviews. If your 5/8 or 5/9 get a medium size. DONT BELIEVE ON SOME OTHER REVIEWS THATS A LIE. They said if your 5/8 140 pound get large size it's WAY to big it's like your cover of a blanket. |
Question: | I am 6,3 and weigh 160. My waist is a 32 and my inseam is between 34 and 36. What size do I need |
Answer: | People there is no extra tall option. Are you guys NBA players? I am also 6’2” and 205lbs. I ordered the x-large tall. The waist is quite loose and the crotch hangs low. Legs are about 4” too long although hemming can fix that. I am re-ordering large- tall so I don’t feel like a flying squirrel. I am staying with the tall so that when Is have to stretch overhead I won’t hit a high note. |
Question: | I wear a size 32 32 pant and wear size medium shirts, what size coveralls would fit me nicely without being baggy |
Answer: | I bought these for my son. He has been using them for auto mechanical work. My son is 6'3", is an athletic build, with a 32 inch waist. The coveralls are of a good quality, and fit pretty true to size. They are a bit baggy, not fitted, but if you need them for work, you also would wear clothes underneath, and they allow for that, as well as allowing him to move well in them. |
Question: | I’m 6’1”, 165 lbs. and on the thin side. What would be the most appropriate size |
Answer: | I’m 180 and 5’10” . I wear large . Hope that helps |

Answer: | No, way to long! I'm 6'1" & 177#. Baggie & too long, I hemmed pants legs 1 1/2". Fit good enough, would buy agian! |
Question: | I'm 5'6 220 should I get a Xl |
Answer: | I am 5'8" also and ordered a Large/Short. It should be understood that even though these are coveralls they are barely covering anything. I wear a t-shirt, underwear, and socks beneath these and stay quite warm working in 34° with a wind chill on top of that. These are perfect for me and my 29 ¼" inseam. I guess it matters how much you wear under them and what your build is like also. I am a solid 190 pounds and no belly so that helps I suspect. I just don't reach for anything on the top shelf or I'd will feel some pressure in the crotch. |
Question: | I am 5.8 should I get a short |
Answer: | Sounds like a 54 Short, maybe 56 or 58 Reg. We cannot guarantee fit. -The Rugged Outfitters Customer Service Team |
