Answer:	You would need a lace up type boot for snow shoeing and rain bots for slush, About the only winter sport I'd use this type of boot would be snowmobiling and ice fishing north of the 45th parallel

Answer:	I nearly always wear size 10. I ordered size 10 M and they fit just right with regular socks. Very comfy, easy to drive the car with them on. Seem quite warm so far. I've worn them in 15 below to 15 above temps in deep snow. I like them!

Answer:	The claim is that they will keep your feet warm to -40 degrees. I live in Southwest Michigan and the coldest its been this winter is -15 with the wind chill. I was outside for more than an hour and they kept my feet warm. I also like them because they slip on and off easily. Make sure that if you have a 1/2 size... to round up to the next size when ordering.
