| Answer: | Not much arch support. They are soft and comfortable, and have a nice soft supportive insole, but have strange sizing. I normally wear a men's size 9 in Vans, Adidas, and most other sneakers, but I found this shoe to be long and narrow in the forefoot. I felt like I had "clown feet," with extra length room at the center toe area. So I went down to an 8.5, which fit quite snugly, but gave me concern that they would be uncomfortable due to rubbing or pinching. They are narrow not only in the left-to-right dimension, but also in the vertical room in the toe. After a short break-in period, I am able to wear them working on my feet for 8-12 hours without a problem. I'll admit that I usually like a little more room in the shoe, but they are soft and comfortable enough so that it does not seem to be a problem. I don't lace them up very tight at all, and I can slip them on and off without untying them. Overall, nice shoes! |
