Answer:	The slippers came out of the washer and dryer in perfectly good condition. For a moment I thought they had shrunk but when I put them on they were fine. As a women I buy men's shoes (they are made wider) because I have an extra wide forefoot, high arches and instep, and need arch support insoles. For me these slippers make great shoe substitutes.

Answer:	No, there is no leather in this shoe. It is a great, very comfortable.
Question:	Can these shoes be used as 'water shoes
Answer:	By water shoe...if you mean wearing when rafting, I would not do it. I wore these on vacation almost every day for over three weeks, they are so comfortable. I changed into other shoes when whitewater rafting the Ocoee River, but I did wear them on a boat, including the Maid of the Mist boat ride at Niagara Falls. They don't slip, and the top dries fast. They are lined with a comfortable soft suede material, that I would not want to expose to excessive water conditions, especially salt water.

Answer:	Yes, the insole is removable probably to allow for thorough drying but, this is one of the best quality insoles I've seen. These are nice ventilated outdoor shoes. I'll be buying more for sure.
